Crypto exchange Coinbase has resolved technical issues that caused it to temporarily halt transactions. Due to the technical problem, payments and withdrawals involving U.S. bank accounts were temporarily halted.
The crypto exchange updated on Sunday at 4:41 p.m. UTC that the incident has been resolved, as per its system status page.
After the issue surfaced, Coinbase said that for unspecified technical reasons the company is currently unable to take payments or make withdrawals involving US bank accounts. It also stated that the team is aware of this issue and is working on getting everything back to normal as soon as possible.
While the company was trying to resolve the issue, it requested customers to use a debit card or PayPal account to make direct purchases on their account if needed.
