The US SEC chairman, Gary Gensler shared an appreciative tweet wishing a happy 14th birthday to Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoin whitepaper.
In his tweet Gensler points out that it has led to innovation and crypto asset investing. He calls for proper protection for investors as crypto enters its 15th year.
Last month Gensler was grilled by Senator Toomey over crypto regulations and the fact that their framework deals with crypto as unregistered securities.
