Layer 2 blockchain Polygon announces the Web3: Made in India Tour, a month-long project in partnership with Animoca Brands, Sino Global Capital, and Push Protocol.
According to the announcement, the Web3 roadshow educates, inspires, and supports India’s Web3 ecosystem.
Eight events will be held during the tour, ending on December 1, 2022, with the inaugural Polygon Connect event in Bangalore on the eve of ETHIndia.
Through live events, hackathons, and community gatherings, Polygon Connect plans to integrate its whole ecosystem.
The event will focus on networking, thought-provoking keynotes, and the blockchain and software developer scene in India.
Sandeep Nailwal, a co-founder of Polygon, Ryan Selkis, the CEO of Messari, Sailesh Lakhani, the founder of Sequoia Capital, and Haseeb Qureshi, the managing partner of Dragonfly, are just a few of the speakers at Polygon Connect.
“India has a huge potential to build a good Web3 ecosystem. The country is an emerging land of developers and empowering the Indian developer ecosystem is crucial for building the next-generation Web3 world,” stated Sandeep Nailwal, Polygon’s Co-Founder, about Polygon Connect’s inaugural India event.
Everyone is welcome to watch the live stream of this event, which is free, and to participate in the special ticketing system made possible by Polygon’s Mint NFT.
In preparation for Connect in India, Polygon will hold “Guild Events,” community gatherings that will occur in seven cities beginning on November 5 in Kochi and continuing in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.
In order to advance blockchain education in India, Polygon is working with Reskill and Pesto to engage with 50 campuses nationwide.
