Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance signs a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with top universities National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taiwan and the University of Wollongong (UOW) in Dubai to “facilitate talent cultivation and innovation development in the industry. ”
The signing event was presided over by Li Tsai-yen, president of NCCU, and Damien Ho, a representative of Binance’s global partnerships division.
The MOU states that NCCU & UOW and Binance want to use online learning tools, internships, curriculum design, workshops, and collaborative research to help students get ready for careers in Web3.
Chen Kung, deputy director of NCCU’s Fintech Research Center, stated that this new collaboration would boost Taiwan’s fintech sector in incalculable ways by fusing Binance’s experience with NCCU’s particular areas of competence.
Cooperation in areas like financial technology, Web3, NFTs, and blockchain was discussed at the signing event.
