The biggest decentralized exchange Uniswap released its privacy policy to explain how the DEX protects user privacy and data and to provide transparency.
According to the statement, Uniswap Labs collects public on-chain data and limited off-chain data from user wallets like device type, browser version, etc to improve user experience.Â
Uniswap stated it does not collect and store users personal data, such as first name, last name, street address, date of birth, email address, or IP address.
As Uniswap does not collect personal data, any vendors they work with do not have any personal data either. Uniswap does not share user data with any third parties for marketing purposes.
Uniswap recently released a reverse proxy server that sits between user devices and any third-party tool to prevent third-party tools from reading user data, to improve its privacy and security practices.
“We will continue to apply these policies to existing and future Uniswap Labs products,” the DEX stated.Â
