The long-awaited second merch drop is here! World of Women Galaxy (WoWG) is back with the first-ever custom token-gated merch experience. The merchandise is dedicated to the WoWG holders and is powered by MerchProof.
With this, Holders would be able to create over 700,000 unique products by personalizing each different apparel option with any of the World of Women or World of Women Galaxy NFTs they own.
Prior to the launch, WoWG holders voted for their favorite merch pieces via the DAWoW that will appear in this merch. This initiative has truly bridged the gap between digital IP and IRL utility. Also, this token-gated personalized shopping experience has set a new bar for NFT merch.
From Nov 21 to Nov 28, holders of all 21,405 World of Women Galaxy NFTs can receive a link to connect their wallets to access two sets of premium merch. The first set of products consists of an 8 piece merch drop featuring premium tees, hoodies, socks, hats, bespoke backpacks, and bomber jackets.
The rest of the products include a brand new 1/1 personalized merch configurator which will enable holders to configure up to 36 unique products per WoW NFT they own. Holders can place the NFTs that they own in different apparel templates designed by WoW co-founder and Creative Director Yam Karkai.
They can also choose several different color schemes per template with various apparel options that will allow for over 700,000 unique products from the World of Women Galaxy NFT collection.
Virtual merchandise is becoming a thing now. The popular football club Liverpool FC became the first Premier League club to launch virtual apparel merchandise at the Meta Avatars Store. This merch has also been set to release in virtual reality later this year.
