Cryptocurrency exchange, Bitget, has announced a series of marketing campaigns involving Lionel Messi. The ‘Make it Count’ brand video was created to commemorate the 2022 World Cup and is part of a $20 million marketing plan that includes rewards.
Bitget has organized a number of giveaways and exclusive rewards in conjunction with World Cup-themed activities. It announced a 1 million BGB, and a signed Lionel Messi jersey as giveaway prizes.
It stated that “100 BGB will be added to the prize pool for every new participant until it reaches 1 million BGB.”
It will also hold its biannual derivatives tournament, KCGI, which will be themed around football and the World Cup, with a prize pool of up to 100 Bitcoin.
Leo Messi commented, “I would like to thank Bitget in making me a part of the crypto trading social world with such exciting campaign. I like the Bitget’s brand film ‘make it count’ concept of leading the vision and charting a new path within the industry. It’s important that everyone invest responsibly with protection, and it’s reassuring to see Bitget taking this seriously with a series of protection initiatives.”
Bitget announced its partnership with Lionel Messi in late October, with the first announcement campaign titled ‘A Perfect 10’.
Gracy Chen, Managing Director of Bitget, said, “Due to some collapses of a few crypto giants this year, consumers’ trust has fallen to a low point, and that is the reason why we are ramping up the efforts on both product and marketing to show our dedication to building the best social trading experiences for our users.”
The exchange is committed to reassuring investors and benefiting Bitget users through various initiatives, as excitement for the World Cup facilitates the connection between the crypto universe and the sports world, with creditable partner legendary footballer Lionel Messi.
