Twitter strengthens its crypto relations by adding BTC and ETH price Index to the search. The Social media platform quietly added a new feature that enables users to search the price of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) simply by typing their names or tickers into the search tab.
The feature is an improvement of its $Cashtag, which was praised by current CEO Elon Musk. People are able to see the search results that include the pricing graphs for those symbols whenever they tweet the symbol of a significant stock, exchange-traded fund, or cryptocurrency with $ in front of it.
It includes major stocks as well as the major cryptocurrencies BTC and ETH for now. Simply searching for the ticker symbol, whether for stock or crypto, will also bring up the price graph.
The Price index has a clickable link directing users to the crypto exchange Robinhood. There is also a trading view symbol on top, implying their involvement or at least their services utilized.
