Australian computer scientist and businessman Craig Wright hints that he will no longer try to persuade everyone that he is Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto after years of fighting in court against multiple crypto community members about the validity of his claims.
“I have been too angry for too long as I cared for external validation. That ends. The only validation I seek now is from my family and from seeing my ideas come to fruition and to be used by the world,” Craig Wright tweeted.
In 2016, Wright attempted to prove he was Satoshi by demonstrating proof that he controlled Satoshi’s private keys, first in private signing sessions with Bitcoin developer Gavin Andresen and former Bitcoin Foundation Director Jon Matonis.
In a lawsuit battle with crypto Twitter fame Hodlonaut, Wright was no longer attempting to convince the court that he is Satoshi using cryptographic evidence.

This is partly because he claims to have destroyed his only proof soon after making an unsuccessful suicide attempt in May 2016, following his signing session with Andresen, and partially because he now contends that cryptographic evidence is inconclusive and that identity is not related to keys.
In October, Hodlonaut won the lawsuit against Craig Wright. The evidence put out by Wright’s attorneys, according to Judge Engebrigtsen, was not suitable to modify the court’s prevailing judgment that Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Three days back, Wright tweeted, “Those seeking greed and defraud loathe all bitcoin stands for and seek to twist it. These groups have all diverted me by allowing my anger and distain. That is over.”
“I no longer care what you think. I care for my wife, my mother, and my family. I seek to see my creation used. The rest is no longer important,” Wright tweeted, coming to terms with the fact that he can’t ever prove he is Satoshi, in fact, he didn’t yet retract the claims of him being the original Bitcoin creator.
“Creator of Bitcoin,” Craig Wright still flaunts proudly on his Twitter bio!!
