British luxury car manufacturer Rolls-Royce Motor launches ‘The Six Elements’: six one-of-one Phantom Extended Series II motor cars that come along with a one-of-a-kind NFT, in collaboration with globally renowned British artist Sacha Jafri.
With Jafri’s “Humanity” serving as the “Sixth Element,” the six Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II cars in “The Six Elements” series each include a hand-painted Sacha Jafri gallery that is inspired by one of the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Air.
The sixth element, Humanity, alludes to Sacha Jafri’s most well-known piece, “The Journey of Humanity,” which holds the record for being the largest painting ever created on canvas according to the Guinness Book of Records.
The Bespoke Collective at Goodwood, UK, and Jafri at the Rolls-Royce Private Office in Dubai collaborated to design, develop, and hand-craft the Rolls-Royce Phantom “The Six Elements.”
This partnership with Jafri is the first ever co-branded artist-series Rolls-Royce collection in history. The work was started in late 2020, and it took two years to finish.
The cars also have a number of other features, such as Jafri’s customized Heart symbol in the hand-painted coachline and a special Six-Elements engraved base for the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot of each car.
In addition to featuring never-before-seen exterior paint colors, interior detailing, hand-painted “Gallery” dash-boards, a custom coachline logo, treadplates, disc wheels, viewable QR Codes, flythrough NFT films, and much more are present in the Six Elements collection.
Dubbed “The Car that Keeps on Giving,” the team will exclusively donate 100% of the resale royalties of accompanied NFTs to the selected charities in perpetuity, hoping to raise tens of millions of dollars over the next five years and beyond.
All six of the one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II cars have been purchased within five days following the official announcement. The whole allocation of these cars provides over $1 million to charity.
The four fundamental issues facing the world that are education, health, sustainability, and equality are the focus of the charities that were selected: Bait El Baraka, The Beekeepers Foundation, Surgeons For Little Lives, & Harmony House.
A royalty fee will be deposited into a digital wallet designated for charity with each NFT trade, bringing to life the phrase “The Rolls-Royce that keeps on giving.”
Additionally, each Jafri Phantom Series II will have a special QR code inserted within the glove compartment, allowing each of the six owners to view their NFT inside their car.
Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Sacha Jafri, the six buyers, and the chosen charities were there at the formal global debut of the Rolls-Royce X Sacha Jafri collection.
Sacha Jafri stated, “Through my work, I aim to combine the power of art with a stripped-back essence of expression, love, empathy, and intention, to inspire a more conscious and intention-filled Humanity, striving for a reconnected world; reunited by the common goal of a more hopeful, sympathetic, sustainable and synergetic future for our planet.”
