Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) launched Sewer Pass NFTs for its skill-based mint gaming experience “Dookey Dash,” which netted over $26 million in sales.
A free claim for Sewer Pass NFTs became available to BAYC/MAYC holders. They can now participate in the Dookey Dash multi-week interactive mint game which ends on February 8.
These passes offer access to Yuga Labs’ game Dookey Dash, surprise rewards, and mysterious perks. The serial number on every claimed Sewer Pass adds uniqueness to the Sewer Pass but has no effect on gameplay.
In Dookey Dash, players can attempt to go as far as possible as the game progresses in difficulty. The mission is to get in the sewer to dodge and break through obstacles as you pick up items called fragments.
The duration of your run, the kinds of fragments you collect along the way, and the obstacles you remove all affect your score, among other things.
Fragment types and Point values:
- Common = 300
- Uncommon = 500
- Rare = 1000
- Epic = 1500
- Legendary = 2000
Different tier Sewer Passes will add different point bonuses to the final score: Tier 4 = 30% bonus, Tier 3 = 20% bonus, Tier 2 = 10% bonus, and Tier 1 = no bonus.
Every Dookey Dash player will receive a power source. The ultimate power source will be awarded to the player with the greatest score.
If there is a tie in points, the player with the highest score first is determined by when they began their top-scoring streak and will receive the key.
The Sewer Pass NFT amassed 17,838 ETH in trading volume, according to data from CryptoSlam. The NFT’s floor price has also climbed from the initial 1.2 ETH to around 2.1 ETH, or about $3,263.
On some platforms, such as Blur, LooksRare, and NFTX, which do not strictly enforce creator-set royalties, the Sewer Pass cannot be traded. The Sewer Pass smart contract blocked all three marketplaces, according to a Yuga Labs representative.
The representative stated “We’ve always been a creative-first company, and we believe that creator royalties must be protected. The Sewer Pass free claim will only be traded on platforms respecting creator royalties.”
