French luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) unveils a two-part NFT campaign titled “Black Opium: The Night Is Ours.” The company to launch “YSL Beauty Night Blocks” NFTs in the first part and the second drop is called “The Night Masters.”
Collectors in the US, UK, Australia, and France will receive an NFT when they purchase a 2014-launched Black Opium fragrance from the official YSL Beauty online store, starting from January 30th.
Downloading and installing the official YSL Beauty wallet app is all collectors need to do to claim it. Once the app has been downloaded, customers can claim their 2014 unit’s piece.
There are two types of digital collectibles: original editions and ultra-rare editions. The YSL Beauty community will decide on the theme of the ultra-rare Night Block.
The owners of YSL Beauty Night Block “Original” NFTs will have access to the private sale of an upcoming drop of “The Night Masters.” A gift voucher for their next purchase will be available on the YSL Beauty website. They will also have access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content with the Black Opium Master Perfumer.
The owners of YSL Beauty Night Block “Rare” NFTs will have access to the same perks as YSL Beauty Night Block “Original” NFT holders. They will also receive a new Black Opium Le Parfum 90 ML along with a curated makeup kit so you can “get the Black Opium look.”
March 1 is the date of the private sale, while March 3 is the day of the public sale. 2000 Original NFTs and 14 Rare NFTs are included in the collection.
On June 30th, 2023, or when all 2014 NFTs have been claimed, the campaign ends. The YSL NFTs are minted on the Polygon blockchain.
Holders of “YSL Beauty Blocks” are informed directly on their wallets about the second drop after Drop 1. YSL’s web3 community will also get early access to this second drop featuring some inspiring female artists during the website-hosted private sale.
YSL collaborates with web3 platform P00Ls for the launch of the tokens of two of their ambassadors: KITTENS ($KITTENS) and Agathe Mougin ($EHTAGA).
All proceeds from the second Yves Saint Laurent NFT drop, “YSL Beauty Night Masters,” will be donated to the charity initiative “Abuse Is Not Love.”
Recently, Yves Saint Laurent filed NFT and Metaverse-related trademark applications for its name and logo intending to launch NFTs featuring perfumery, toiletries, cosmetics, make-up, skin care preparations, and much more for use in the metaverse.
