The National Football League (NFL) unveils Warner Music Records artist Saweetie as an official part of the NFL’s Super Bowl LVII event line-up in a free virtual concert held on Roblox.
Hip-hop artist Saweetie will perform a family-friendly, fully motion-captured performance on Roblox featuring her hit singles including “Tap-In.”
The Super Bowl concert will take place in Warner Music Group’s Rhythm City, a first-of-its-kind music-themed social roleplay experience on Roblox. The metaverse performance will honor the upcoming Super Bowl LVII and encourage viewers to witness a message of female empowerment.
The concert will begin on February 10 at 7 p.m. ET and will repeat every hour on the hour until February 12. The event will also be accompanied by a selection of digital goods that can be purchased at the Roblox store.
On February 4, the NFL will also release Super NFL Tycoon on Roblox presented by Intuit in addition to the virtual concert. With the support of Intuit, the most recent NFL experience on Roblox will give players the chance to practice crucial business and financial skills while living out their goal of owning an NFL franchise.
With the use of Intuit’s products, Super NFL Tycoon mimics an authentic business experience, from selecting a team and developing an “Intuit Stadium” to handling financial flow, payroll, taxes, and client acquisition.
Users will be able to easily transition between Super NFL Tycoon and Rhythm City during the virtual concert by using a specific portal. Super NFL Tycoon, Rhythm City, and the Saweetie Super Bowl Concert are all established in partnership with web3 firm Gamefam.
Saweetie stated “As an artist, innovator, and football fan, to be able to perform during Super Bowl LVII weekend in this new world — Rhythm City on Roblox — is something I never imagined that I would be involved in. I am very grateful and happy about this opportunity. I can’t wait for fans to experience what we’ve created.”
