The global e-commerce platform eBay is hiring Web3’s top talents for blockchain and NFT efforts. eBay lists jobs of Crypto Counsel, Head of Community, and Marketing Executive, following the acquisition of the NFT platform KnownOrigin.io.
The Crypto Counsel role includes working closely across multiple business teams at the company providing legal advice with respect to NFTs, blockchain, and other Web3 matters.
The job also requires the applicant to independently coordinate with functional team members, including Tax, Finance, Privacy, Information Security, IP, and other internal teams regarding Web3, NFTs, and crypto assets.
Last June, eBay acquired KnownOrigin for an undisclosed sum aiming to bring more creators and collectors into the space by combining the marketplace’s technical innovation with eBay’s brand and community.
The Marketing Executive will support the Marketing Campaign Manager and Product Marketing Manager to drive eBay’s partnership, product, and content campaigns from planning through to activation.
The Head of Community’s role includes deploying various digital tactics to increase awareness, drive traffic to social media touchpoints, and encourage potential customers to engage in Discord channels.
As of now, 37 candidates have applied for the post of head of community over the past 24 hours, 37 candidates have applied for the marketing executive role, and 29 candidates have applied for the crypto counsel position.
