The claim period for Bored Ape Yacht Club’s (BAYC) skill-based mint gaming experience “Dookey Dash” and Sewer passes will close on February 8th, 2023 at 3 PM PST.
Game scores will be frozen on February 8, 2023, with the Dookey Dash coming to an end. Users will still be able to transfer or swap their Sewer Passes from February 8 to February 15, 2023.
Users must hang onto their Sewer Pass until February 15, 2023, after playing Dookey Dash. After then, if they’ve played and scored more than 0, the Sewer Pass will be able to change into a new item.
The Sewer Pass will be eligible for transformation on February 15, 2023. If you trade your Sewer Pass after the scores have been frozen, the new holder, rather than the initial holder, will be the one who is qualified to alter the Sewer Pass.
During this time, simply trading or exchanging Sewer Passes won’t cause a score to reset. Up until the leaderboard is sealed on February 8 at 3 PM PST, anyone who had their score erased as a consequence of cheating can still play to log a legitimate score for their Sewer Pass.
Sewer Passes will be verified after the leaderboard has been locked. In order to log a legitimate score, cheaters will not be allowed to play Dookey Dash again.
It is a user’s responsibility to make sure their delegated Sewer Pass was used properly. The Sewer Passes scores will be deleted regardless of whether they came from a delegated player if the team concludes that the logged score was the consequence of cheating.
Last month, Yuga Labs announced the skill-based NFT mint game Dookey Dash where users attempt to go as far as possible as the game progresses in difficulty with the use of Sewer Passes. Sewer Pass NFTs netted over $26 million in sales upon launch.
