The global musician and billionaire businesswoman Rihanna’s 3× Platinum-certified song “B*TCH Better Have My Money” is coming to the music NFT platform anotherblock. Deputy, the song’s co-producer, is releasing BBHMM as an NFT that will give fans a cut of his streaming royalties.
Today at 5:00 PM GMT, the limited edition Rihanna NFTs will make their debut. The collection has 300 NFTs in total, each costing 0.145 eth, or around $210.
The NFT holders receive access to 0.0033% of the streaming royalties for the Rihanna song, giving fans a better experience than streaming.
Deputy stated “as a fan, you get a certain attachment to an artist or a song. When you get an opportunity to own a part of a song, it’s a game changer. It creates a whole different realm of being connected, outside of streaming or concerts.”
Rolling Stone ranked “B**ch Better Have My Money” at number 45 on its year-end list to find the 50 best songs of 2015. It was written by Rihanna, Bibi Bourelly, Deputy, co-producer Kanye West, and additional producers Travis Scott and WondaGurl.
The anotherblock CEO Michel D Traore noted “We’re thrilled to let more fans of groundbreaking tracks like ‘BBHMM’ connect with their favorite songs and support the creative people behind them in new ways through our drops.”
The NFT drop is remarkable because on February 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Rihanna will headline the Super Bowl 2023 halftime show. When the Philadelphia Eagles face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the singer will hit the stage at halftime.
