American media personality and businesswoman Paris Hilton is going to celebrate this Valentine’s Day in The Sandbox with the virtual dating reality show experience in the ‘Parisland: the world’s most romantic island.’
According to the announcement, Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media collaborated with The Sandbox to launch an in-game dating reality show hosted by Paris Hilton where users will interact with five potential romantic partners.
The players will get access to Parisland from February 13 to March 13, 2023, where they can take part in Paris Hilton’s reality program and gain special rewards.
Players will have to find their true love, in addition to selecting a wedding ring and wedding attire, learning the recipe for the chef’s famous Love Burger, rescuing a castaway, and flirting with other participants in the show to earn points.
Players will be able to attend a lavish wedding and dance the night away with Paris Hilton herself DJing for the happy couple once they have finished all of the quests and made their decision.
Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox, stated “Parisland offers a dazzling escape to sunny beaches, lighthearted romance, and genuine emotion as you discover and woo your romantic partner and celebrate with a destination wedding.”
“We’re thrilled to celebrate another holiday in the metaverse, this time in The Sandbox with a mission to help people find love. This marks yet another defining moment for Paris and 11:11 Media, as we continue to develop innovative, interactive experiences for next-gen audiences to connect with brands, celebrities, and each other,” added Cynthia Miller, Web3, and metaverse strategy Lead at 11:11 Media.
Last August, Paris Hilton built her own Virtual Malibu Mansion in The Sandbox. Before that Paris Hilton was a “surprise DJ” at South by Southwest (SXSW) hosted by The Sandbox as her voxel metaverse avatar.
