The digital asset infrastructure provider, Taurus, fetched $65 million in a Series B funding round organised by Credit Suisse (CS).
The funding round was participated by three major financial institutions, Deutsche Bank, Pictet Group, and Arab Bank Switzerland. It was also attained by stock-listed real-estate group Investis.
Taurus revealed that the firm will utilise the fund behind its international expansion, specifically in Europe, UAE, and soon after in the Americas and South-East Asia. Apart from this, the fund will be used to hire top engineering talent and enhance sales as well as user experience. With this fund, the firm will also fortify security and meet new risk, and compliance requirements.

Currently, Taurus’s co-founders Lamine Brahimi, Sébastien Dessimoz, Oren-Olivier Puder, and Dr. Jean-Philippe Aumasson are the largest shareholders of the firm.
Taurus offers custody, tokenization, and trading of digital assets, including support for staking, and decentralised finance (DeFi) in eight countries. In total, Taurus is currently working with over 25 financial institutions.
