Italian manufacturer of luxury sports cars, Automobili Lamborghini, partners with digital collectibles platform VeVe to launch Lamborghini super sports cars as NFT collectibles.
According to the announcement, the first group of Lamborghini Huracán VeVe digital collectible colorways includes: Bianco Asopo/Blu Le Mans, Grigio Titans/Giallo Belenus, Rosso Epona/Grigio Adamas, and Verde Citrea/Arancio DAC.
The Lamborghini Huracán STO – Super Trofeo Omologata model with a variety of rare qualities is featured in the NFTs, scheduled to be listed on VeVe on February 19, at 8 AM PT.
The Lamborghini NFT launch will include four first-edition collectibles, classified from Uncommon to Secret Rare only available through VeVe.
After making a purchase, collectors can use the VeVe app’s virtual showrooms to display their NFTs, post them on their VeVe social feeds, and utilize augmented reality (AR) to view and “drive” their vehicles on real-world streets.
David Yu, Co-Founder of VeVe, stated “Lamborghini has always been on the forefront of luxury and innovation when it comes to super sports cars, establishing an iconic legacy that is second to none. VeVe is thrilled to collaborate with Automobili Lamborghini to expand their innovative ways into the digital realm and bring back one of the most iconic supercars of all-time, the Huracán.”
Last month, German automobile manufacturer Porsche’s NFT Collection miserably failed to take off on launch with criticisms of mint price pouring in and a lack of a proper roadmap. Some reminded that Web2 firms should collaborate with Web3 firms to improve their prospects of a successful NFT deployment.
