FTX Japan announced that the exchange will resume its services for the withdrawal of fiat currency and crypto assets via the Liquid Japan web Platform.
FTX Japan customers can withdraw their funds starting from 2:00 p.m. (noon, JST) on February 21, 2023. Customers who have assets in their FTX Japan account would need to verify the balance of their assets and transfer them to their Liquid Japan account to proceed with withdrawals.
Customers who do not already have an account with Liquid Japan must create one to transfer assets. All qualified clients who qualify have received an email from the business outlining the specifics of the process.
It can take some time for the withdrawal process to be finished due to a large number of customer requests. It will be announced when other FTX Japan services resume. whenever possible.
In 2022, FTX, once the third-largest cryptocurrency exchange globally, filed for bankruptcy. Sam Bankman-Fried, the company’s founder, is presently on trial in the US on fraud-related allegations.
