Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) opened the sewers unveiling the new “Toad Mode,” a limited-time Dookey Dash event.
According to BAYC founder Yuga Labs, Toad Mode is a special version of Dookey Dash and follows similar principles where the mission is to get in the sewer to dodge and break through obstacles as users pick up fragments — “and now toads!”
Users are eligible to play Dookey Dash: Toad Mode as long as they have a Sewer Pass, even one that has a N/A rank or 0 score, from February 22, 2023, to March 1, 2023.
N/A Sewer passes can play Toad Mode and get a score greater than 0 to take part and become qualified for the Summoning.
Those who may have been rejected for any reason now have a chance to recover the value of their Sewer Pass because these passes will then be eligible to summon a Power Source ranked below what is summoned by previously ranked Sewer Passes.
Even after playing Toad Mode, N/A Sewer Passes do not change the ranking visual that is presented on the passes. Hence, you cannot increase your pass’ rank through Toad Mode if it has already gained a rank.
The Leaderboard in Dookey Dash: Toad Mode will now display two different scores connected to Sewer Pass. Toad Points, which are dependent on the quantity and types of toads you gather in a single round of Toad Mode.
The points you earn for collecting pieces, bonking items, overcoming barriers, and covering distance will count under another score; Toad Points will have no bearing on this score.
This event is a chance to obtain a special companion trait for your Power Source if users possess a Sewer pass. Users have to finish in the top 500 runs or the top 2000 Toad Points in Toad Mode to claim the trait.
Sewer Passes that show N/A that are tied to a score of 0 after Toad Mode scores are finalized will not be eligible for the Summoning that begins on March 8th, 2023.
So what are you waiting for Sewer Pass holders? You can jump back into the sewer for Dookey Dash: Toad Mode right now.
A few days back, Fortnite Star Player Mongraal was declared as BAYC’s Dookey Dash winner. The esports player listed his #1 ranked Sewer Pass in OpenSea for 2,222 ETH, approximately $3,708,000 after the BAYC validated Mongraal’s victory
