Spotify is currently experimenting with a new feature called token-enabled music playlists, which allows holders of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to connect their wallets and listen to exclusive content.
Currently, It is working with Overlord and Kingship, Fluf, and Moonbirds community. Overlord said it would only be accessible on Android and to people holding Creepz NFTs in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.
Kingship said it would participate in the trial. A playlist will be made exclusively available to Kingship Key Card NFT holders.
Once purchased, the playlist would be added to the user’s library, and they would have the ability to stream the songs in the playlist at any time. This new feature has the potential to create a new revenue stream for Spotify and offers users more flexibility in how they access and listen to music.
