Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance launched the beta version of “Bicasso,” an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered NFT generator reaching 10k NFT mints in just 2.5 hours.
Binance CEO CZ tweeted, “BICASSO first pilot just completed with 10K NFT minted in 2.5 hours. The AI was a little stressed out, but caught its breathe now.”
9,907 owners minted at least one NFT as part of the limited beta at the time of writing. Unfortunately, these NFTs cannot be listed for trading as it is included in the pilot version.
Binance later stated that even though the Bicasso beta quota runs out, others can still sign up for the waitlist for the full version.
Binance spent time enhancing the server capabilities to minimize errors and make the minting process more efficient.
AI apps are all the rage right now since the inception of Openai’s platform Chatgpt. Bicasso mimics other AI-focused image generator apps like DALL-E, Starryai, NightCafe, etc.
Binance is currently embroiled in many issues, so this NFT generator launch lit up the community’s mood for some time. Recently, Binance CEO CZ was found distraught by Forbes claims that they compared Binance to the departed FTX in the run-up to its downfall based on the money flow.
