The Bitcoin-focused unit of Jack Dorsey’s Digital Payments firm Block, TBD, unveils a lightning service provider titled “c=” to enhance liquidity and routing on Bitcoin’s Lightning Network.
According to a Bloomberg report, Block launched the service “hoping to reduce failed transactions on the Lightning Network stemming from a lack of liquidity.”
Although the number of Lightning transactions is rising, many transactions are failing because of inadequate liquidity. c= provides wallets with lightning payments that are quick, dependable, and cheap.
Block stated: “Connecting to the Lightning Network requires liquidity in the form of bitcoin. C= will build infrastructure using the bitcoin it is committing to the network so that businesses and wallets can make their Lightning transactions more reliable and dependable.”
