Ethereum testnet network, Goerli successfully upgraded to Shapella, allowing validators to withdraw their staked Ethereum (stETH) from Beacon Chain both fully and partially.
This one is the last test run before the final Ethereum mainnet’s Shapella upgrade, which is slated for early April.
As per the blockchain analyst “terence.eth”, the network took 15 epochs (time to grow by a certain number of blocks) for Shapella to get forked on the Goerli testnet due to below-the-threshold participation.

However, still, some validators were operating a previous version of clients that reportedly affected the network performance as smoothly as expected according to Ethereum core developer Tim Beiko.
He slammed testnet validators who are having less incentive as they think the Goerli ETH “is worthless”.
However, the community is expecting that validators will make adequate adjustments before the Shapella upgrade on the Ethereum mainnet.
