The Wynn Resorts, known for its high-end ambiance and customer services, has applied for a trademark to join Web3 technology via Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Metaverse.
According to Mike Kondoudis, the publicly traded company – Wynn Resorts has filed six trademarks for the term “WYNN” and “DESERT INN”, to adopt NFT and Metaverse.
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) received this application from Wynn Resorts on March 17, 2023.
As per the application, the enterprise aims to provide online retail shop services in the Metaverse that have included items like clothing, key chains, drinkware, gaming tables, chips from casinos, and many more things.
By connecting to Web3 technology, users will be able to visit the resort hotel, the famous casino, its services, nightclubs for fun, bars, and restaurants in the virtual environment of the resorts.
Specifically, the company intends to offer, “virtual concerts and shows in connection with a virtual resort hotel or casino.”
Wynn Resorts wants to develop an online marketplace. In terms of this provision, users can access an “image file containing digital charms” authorized by the NFT, and individuals can buy, sell, and trade all of these crypto-collectibles.
