Blockchain forensic and analytics startup Blocktrace announced the development of Robby the Robot, an AI-powered robot that will interact with the Bitcoin blockchain.
According to the announcement, Robby is “an AI-powered robot that provides accurate and efficient answers to bitcoin-related questions.
Blocktrace intends to deploy Robby to its clients gradually and in stages. The early access beta registration for Robby the Robot is now open.
Blocktrace CEO Shaun MaGruder stated: “Bitcoin is a great project to start with and will likely always be around, just like Ethereum. It’s considered the OG because it was the first and has a large pool of user base addresses with a lot of activity.”
MaGruder claims that Blocktrace’s database has a copy of the Bitcoin blockchain’s data. Their AI-infused application alows users to converse in natural language with a virtual assistant.
According to MaGruder, users can request specific information more quickly than they could manually, such as transactions between dates and amounts.
MaGruder noted Blocktrace seeks to make it possible for users and investigators to use the technology created by OpenAI to locate Bitcoin addresses swiftly and accurately and thoroughly identify transactions on the network.
“Instead of requiring a data engineer or data scientist to translate natural language questions into SQL queries, Robbie has already been trained on the data model and can quickly fetch results for the user,” MaGruder added.
MaGruder stated that before releasing Robby to the general public, the robot would first be sent to a limited group for testing in order to ensure that it is reliable and that the questions the public will ask Robby are questions that Blocktrace has already asked Robby.
People will undoubtedly assess Robbie’s accuracy by contrasting it to a conventional blockchain explorer, according to MaGruder. Blocktrace has therefore added a thumbs-up and thumbs-down button to allow users to indicate the positive and negative aspects of the AI-powered Robot in order to collect feedback.
AI sites/apps is the talk of the town since the sudden rise of ChatGPT. Recently it was revealed that the new ChatGPT-4 helps to detect Ethereum smart contract flaws and it can also provide solutions to fix vulnerabilities present in the code. Â
