The biggest Solana-based NFT collection, DeGods commenced its migration on the Ethereum blockchain on Saturday, according to the official announcement.
For the initial 24 hours, the DeGods collection with cover ETH migration fees for all token holders. DeGods have urged users to keep patience during the process as the migration will take some time.
However, to dodge congestion during the migration of NFTs, one can pay additional gas fees to execute transactions as a priority. Also, users will need their own ETH for gas post-migration to the stake, buy and sell.
Furthermore, till 48 hours, there will be no charges for staking or unstaking DUST on the Ethereum network for DeGods.
A DeGod who moves within the initial 24 hours will be rewarded with a BTC DeGod. Later, all DeGods that have confirmed migrations on SOL will be captured in a snapshot, and the winner will be announced on the Discord server.
As of Wednesday, Y00ts, which is a sister project of DeGods, had started migrating to Polygon. Based on information from Dune Analytics, almost 80% of the Y00ts project had already finished the migration process.
According to CryptoSlam, DeGods proprietors accomplished more than $2.19 million in transactions only on Friday. This amount represents the largest sum since the NFTs were first produced in October 2021.
