NFT giant Yuga Labs’ Otherside metaverse announced the “Otherdeed Expanded: decoupling and vessel claim” events for Voyagers, set to occur sometime this week.
Not just Koda NFT holders, but all Voyagers can take part in the decoupling by claiming a Vessel. The Otherdeed NFT will be burned if the holders want to take part in Koda Decoupling or Vessel Claim, which will then become a part of Otherdeed Expanded.
According to the announcement, “Otherdeed Expanded is the key to accessing these new gaming experiences, best experienced using dynamic NFTs that can change over time”
The Voyagers’ wallet will get the new NFTs, and this wallet will serve as the key to accessing gaming features in the Otherdeed Expanded.
The Otherdeed Expanded NFT will be governed by a personal use license after decoupling. A broad commercial license will typically apply to the decoupled Koda NFT.
The Otherdeed Expanded NFTs will have the chance to take part in upcoming activations such as the Otherside: Legends of The Mara as well as Obelisk metadata upgrades.
Last week, Yuga Labs’ Otherside introduced Legends Of The Mara, a 2D strategy gaming experience for Voyagers. The three distinct Mara species that will emerge from the Vessels are Farmer, Hunter, and Enchanter, respectively.
