The Celo Foundation has collaborated with Google Cloud to help sustainability-focused startups in the Celo Network build and scale Web3 applications. This partnership will bolster the growth of mission-aligned projects in Celo’s blockchain ecosystem and expand the early adoption of Google Cloud services.
This partnership will provide Celo founders building on Celo with credits for Google Cloud and Firebase usage and help Celo enhance its mobile-first infrastructure and decentralized applications (DApps).
The Google Cloud team will also participate in the virtual Celo Camp accelerator program to provide guidance and the eight-week virtual Celo Camp accelerator, joining Twilio, SendGrid, HubSpot, and Coinbase Cloud in offering project support.
Furthermore, both teams aim to co-host targeted workshops and events focused on Web3 sustainability and innovation.
Xochitl Cazador, the Celo Foundation’s head of ecosystem growth, said, “ his new, expanded partnership between Google and the Celo Foundation enhances the ability to collaboratively create broader awareness for blockchain technology and its ability to scale real-world use cases on Celo.”
Richard Widmann, Head of Strategy, Web3, Google Cloud commented, “Working with Celo and the Web3 startup community, we look forward to driving forward Google Cloud’s vision of enabling secure, scalable, and sustainable innovation through technology.”
