A major partnership between the world’s largest martial arts organization, ONE Championship and Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Notre Game was recently announced by both companies. The joint venture will develop an NFT-powered mobile game called ONE Fight Arena.Â
The game, available for free on Google Play and the App Store, will feature a strategic gameplay experience focusing on ONE’s roster of world-class martial artists.
Players will be able to choose from a variety of ONE athletes, including MMA legend Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon, in order to develop their fighter’s career through an immersive first-person point of view.
The game will begin player testing in Q4 2023 and will be released worldwide in Q1 2024. ONE Fight Arena will also provide players with the option of Web3 integration, which will use blockchain technology and NFTs to provide true digital ownership of certain game assets, including ONE athletes.
