Amidst the growing number of users emerging in the cryptocurrency market, trading platforms are making services more accessible and intuitive. It’s evident as the major trading platform Robinhood Markets (HOOD) brings new features to users.
Robinhood launched its new update, Robinhood Connect, allowing its wallet users to access their credentials and fund their Web3 wallet directly from decentralized finance (DeFi) applications.
Users do not need to leave the DeFi app or protocol to access the wallet without opening the Robinhood app, as this update moves third-party apps out of the way.
As Robinhood said in a press release, the “Connect” feature will help its wallet users to save time when buying and withdrawing crypto from self-custody wallets. Additionally, developers can incorporate functionality into their dApps to enable Robinhood users to connect to their funds quickly.
The Robinhood ‘Connect’ feature is currently available on MyDoge, Giddy, and Slingshot wallets. Also, the company is increasingly joining hands with Exodus and Phantom to launch ‘Connect’.
Johann Kerbrat, General Manager of Robinhood Crypto, aims to establish Robinhood Crypto as the most reliable, affordable, and user-friendly on-ramp to cryptocurrency.
Also, he added: “Our conviction in the future of web3 remains strong, and we’ve continued to build new products that put the accessibility and usability of crypto front and center for customers.
The company highlights developments on its app to contribute to the broader adoption of Web3 and digital assets.
