The HOFA Gallery and the Solana-based NFT platform Kreation host an immersive exhibition entitled “Beyond the Screen,” showcasing the works of nine AI and digital artists.Â
The event will run from May 5, 2023, featuring artworks by renowned and emerging artists such as XCOPY, OSF, Orkhan, Cath Simard, Alpha Centauri Kid, DeeKay, Gavin Shapiro, Ivona Tau, and 25m42.
The exhibition aims to highlight the growing interest of collectors in digital art and AI-generated content. Each piece on display reflects the artists’ creative journey and showcases the power of AI in unique ways.
The exhibition will display a variety of artworks, including generative art, interactive installations, virtual reality experiences, and digital sculptures. Due to the popularity and value of the artists in the NFT world, the exhibition has been valued at approximately $5 million or 2,500 ETH.
The renowned digital artist XCOPY headlined the event, whose thought-provoking works explore the impact of technology on society. Notably, XCOPY made one of the highest sales with ‘A Coin for the Ferryman’ selling for $6.02 million (1330 ETH) in 2021.
Elio D’Anna, a co-founder of HOFA and Kreation, said, “The global digital art market is expected to reach $8.5 billion this year, and the AI art market is expected to grow to $1.8 billion by 2026, which presents significant opportunities, but also challenges for the roles of technology, originality, and authorship, ethics and social implications, and artistic expression and aesthetics.”
Beyond the Screen will run between 5- 26 May. The exhibition will be open for physical viewing in HOFA Gallery in Mayfair and virtual browsing in the HOFAVERSE, 24/7.
