Top NFT brand Yuga Labs announced that Mike Seavers, the former Executive Vice President of Development at Epic Games, will be joining the company as its new Chief Technology Officer on May 22.Â
Seavers will be succeeding Kerem Atalay, the current CTO, and co-founder of Yuga Labs, who will continue to serve as a strategic advisor for the company.
With more than twenty years of experience as a technology and product leader, Seavers has an impressive track record in the industry.
During his time at Epic Games, he led the development teams responsible for creating some of the company’s most popular products, including Fortnite, Unreal Engine, and the Epic Games Store.
Prior to that, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Riot Games, where he played a pivotal role in the development of League of Legends, Valorant, and Legends of Runeterra.
Seavers’ expertise is not limited to the gaming industry as he has also worked with several Fortune 500 companies to build innovative platforms. He is a world-class leader with a proven track record of taking organizations to the next level.
