In the FTX Investor case, Moskowitz Law Firm, representing the FTX investors, was unable to serve a legal notice to a famous crypto influencer – Tom Nash. Therefore, the firm requested a Florida district court judge to grant it permission to file an FTX lawsuit against Tom Nash via Twitter.
Eventually, the US court accepted the request of the law firm’s lawyers. On May 02, Moskowitz Law Firm posted its notice via Twitter mentioning the Twitter handle of Tom Nash.
Nash was previously charged with nine other influencers in a class action lawsuit against social media influencers who promoted FTX without disclosing compensation.
According to the filing, Nash previously received a lawsuit via email or at the attorneys’ address but he did not respond to it.
