Layer-1 Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) blockchain platform Flare announced it integrated its API Portal on Google Cloud Marketplace unveiling some of the first blockchain APIs on the platform.
According to the blog post, developers can access the blockchain data from Flare’s nodes and connected nodes using Google Cloud Marketplace for easy blockchain transactions.
This significant advancement involves the integration of blockchain APIs for Binance’s BNB Smart Chain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Songbird, Algorand, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Flare, and XRP into Google Cloud’s built-in Cloud Marketplace.
Developers can now create applications that execute transactions and query on-chain data without needing to run their own nodes for every blockchain, which is fantastic news.
The Google Cloud Marketplace integration of Flare is a game-changer since it makes it exceedingly simple for anyone using Google Cloud to access all of Flare’s current APIs using their pre-existing Google Cloud account. Spending on Flare APIs through the Google Cloud Marketplace may be deducted from a customer’s committed Google Cloud spend.
Additionally, Google Cloud will eventually include every blockchain connected by Flare’s data and interoperability infrastructure, giving developers access to the top 100 chains. This intriguing collaboration is expected to revolutionize the sector and create new opportunities for blockchain developers.
Josh Edwards, Flare’s VP of Engineering, stated, “Greater availability of leading blockchain APIs on platforms such as Google Cloud Marketplace reduces the barriers to Web3 participation. It makes it easier for developers to experiment with blockchain technology and its many use cases without being burdened by onerous hardware costs and ongoing maintenance.”
