In a recent report by Times of India, the latest development by the Indian State Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) and its secondary education board has sent ripples through the global education system by introducing crypto and drone technology in the syllabus for classes 9 to 12. While robotics and drone technology have been added to the Class 12 curriculum, students in Class 11 are being educated about the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, augmented and virtual reality, 3D printing, and cloud computing.
For students in classes 11 and 12, Board experts have replaced traditional C++ and HTML programming courses with coding languages such as Python and Java.
Students in Class 10 will learn the fundamentals of avoiding hacking, phishing, and cyber fraud. Students will also research e-governance. In addition, programming concepts, computer communication, and networking will now be taught in class 9 instead of class 10.
