The leading cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, in the United States, is launching a new national ad campaign called “Moving America Forward.”
As per the post of May 22, The campaign aims to emphasize the crucial role of cryptocurrencies in modernizing the global financial system. The campaign will also highlight the importance of the global adoption of crypto and blockchain technology.
The series of four advertisements will feature Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and will be aired during popular Sunday shows and NBA Finals series ad breaks.
Coinbase believes that the US risks losing its economic leadership and national security if it fails to embrace and advance financial technologies like crypto.
One of the ads, titled “The History of Money Initiative,” will take viewers on a journey through the evolution of currency from ancient times to cryptocurrencies.
To visually reinforce this concept, Coinbase plans to display historical images of currency on a wallscape campaign on Wall Street and transform an armored money truck into a mobile billboard.
Another ad, “Stand With Crypto Day,” will promote a lobbying-focused event hosted by Coinbase in Washington D.C. on July 19, where members of the crypto community will advocate for crypto-friendly policies with their respective members of Congress.
The remaining two ads, “Real People Using Crypto for Real Needs” and “The State of Crypto Summit,” will showcase how individuals are utilizing cryptocurrencies for economic freedom.
The ads will also promote a Coinbase event in New York City on June 22. This campaign builds on Coinbase’s previous efforts to modernize the financial system, including an ad released in March titled “It’s Time to Update the Financial System” and a Super Bowl ad featuring a scannable QR code for a BTC giveaway page.
In addition to the ad campaign, Coinbase has recently intensified its lobbying efforts. On May 12, the company launched the Global Advisory Council, which consists of former U.S. lawmakers and industry leaders, to navigate the complex crypto landscape worldwide.
Coinbase continues to position itself as a key player in the advancement and widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies, advocating for their integration into the global financial ecosystem.
