A passionate message has been shared on the Cardano platform, urging Stake Pool Operators (SPOs) to upgrade to the new Node version 8.1.1.Â
This latest version, released today, brings several improvements that make things smoother overall. One key enhancement is the clever distribution of computations throughout each epoch, rather than concentrating them only at certain points.
Rick McCracken, a respected member of the Cardano community, has emphasized the importance of Node 8.1.1. Although it’s considered a “minor” release, this update includes a crucial fix from the innovative team at ouroboros-network.
It specifically strengthens P2P topologies that don’t have DNS names in their local roots.
By upgrading to Cardano’s Node version 8.1.1, the platform’s efficiency and stability will be significantly enhanced. This showcases the developers’ dedication to ongoing improvement.
