The film studio Warner Bros. has announced a new digital experience related to the movie “The Flash ” using cutting-edge tech offered by Web3 and nonfungible tokens (NFTs), which will launch on 18 July.
The experience will include NFT collections, augmented reality (AR) features, exclusive content, and the movie itself in a 4K ultra HD, hosted on a Eluvio blockchain.
There are two versions of the experience available for purchase: Mystery and Premium, priced at $35 and $100 respectively.
People on social media have reacted with mixed feelings, with some criticizing the move as a cash grab and some fans eagerly waiting for drops.
