A prominent Ethereum Layer 2 project, Mantle Network, has announced the launch of its mainnet alpha at the Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC) in Paris.Â
After six months of development and testing, Mantle Network aims to provide faster transaction speeds and lower fees while maintaining the security of the Ethereum network.
Its modular architecture and rollup design separate different functionalities into distinct layers, allowing for efficient upgrades and compatibility with the latest Ethereum advancements.
In conjunction with the mainnet alpha release, Mantle Network has introduced a $200 million ecosystem fund to support early-stage decentralized applications (dApps) on Ethereum Layer 2.Â
The project’s strategy focuses on active ecosystem management and the development of native blue-chip projects to foster value creation and community governance.
Mantle Network aims to facilitate advanced blockchain gaming, decentralized finance (DeFi), and social protocols by leveraging Layer 2 technology to achieve scalability and cost-effectiveness.
