The digital currency used by crypto enthusiasts on Reddit, MOON, has recently made its debut on crypto.com. This exciting development has resulted in a significant surge in the Moons for the second day in a row.
According to the data from Coingecko, the price of Moons has skyrocketed by an impressive 50% within just 24 hours, reaching a trading value of $0.41.
It’s worth mentioning that Moons had already experienced a notable increase in value on Monday, driven by rumours of a possible listing on the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.
Moons, the native token for Reddit cryptocurrency enthusiasts, has gained support on yet another exchange, Crypto.com, joining the ranks of other platforms like MEXC, Gate.io, SushiSwap, and RCP Swap.
This recent inclusion of Crypto.com has sparked a significant level of excitement among Reddit users. Many users are particularly optimistic due to the substantial involvement of Crypto.com, with one user exclaiming, “This is getting serious.”
The listing of Moons on Crypto.com has ignited a wave of excitement within the vibrant r/Cryptocurrency subreddit, which boasts an impressive user base of over 6.5 million members.
A post on the subreddit remarked that Crypto.com has quickly become the preferred platform for millions of Redditors.
Amidst the enthusiasm, some users expressed genuine surprise, stating, “Did anyone else expect us to reach this point? I’m not sure what to do next since I hadn’t anticipated this.”
In 2020, Reddit administrators introduced Moon as ERC-20 on the Arbitrum Nova network as part of their community points initiative.
These tokens are given to users based on their involvement in the r/Cryptocurrency subreddit and can be used for tipping other users.
To store Moons, users rely on the Vault, an Ethereum-based Digital wallet that was implemented on Reddit the year before.
