A new platform called Arkham Intel Exchange has made headlines by accepting its first submission aimed at “deanonymizing the blockchain.” The platform’s goal is to reveal the identities behind wallet addresses on the blockchain.
The Arkham Intel Exchange announced on July 24 that it has accepted a submission from two “on-chain sleuths,” earning a bounty payout of 9,519.2625 Arkham (ARKM), or around $5,000 at the time of writing.
Launched on July 10, Arkham has faced criticism from the crypto community, with some calling it a “glorified snitching service.” The platform allows users to post bounties requesting information about blockchain transactions, which will be made public 90 days after approval at Arkham.
Terra was previously involved in controversy during the 2022 crypto market crash when its algorithmic stablecoin, TerraClassicUSD (USTC), depegged from the US dollar. Kwon himself faced legal issues, being arrested and sentenced to four months in prison for using forged travel documents.
In South Korea, individuals linked to Terra are also under scrutiny from local authorities investigating the exchange. Co-founder Shin Hyun-seong, also known as Daniel Shin, reportedly faced charges related to alleged illicit profits from the sale of LUNA tokens.

As Arkham’s revelation could have significant implications for Terra and its co-founder, the crypto community awaits the release of the information later this year.
