The participant of Ethereum’s initial coin offering (ICO) moved about 641 Ether out of the 2000 ETH they obtained from the Ethereum Genesis ICO back in 2015.Â
Lookonchain, a Twitter handle that shares on-chain data, tracked the transaction and said that the address received 2000 ETH from Ethereum Genesis. At that time, the ETH rate was ~$0.31. Currently the total valuation of this holding is roughly around $3.7million today
Ethereum launched its ICO in July 2014 and it was announced by Vitalik Buterin at the North American Bitcoin Conference, Miami. All the participants received their ETH in July, 2015.

Although this is not the first time Ethereum’s older wallet became active. Earlier this month, another ICO participant transferred a whopping 61,216 ETH, approximately $116 at that time, to crypto exchange Kraken.
In late May, an address containing 8000 ETH transferred all of its funds to a newer Ethereum address. It also received all the Ether from Ethereum’s ICO in 2015.
