The co-founder of Huobi exchange, Du Jun has purchased 10M CRV from Michael Egorov on Wednesday. Jun tweeted that he also wants to buy CRV at $0.4 when Egorov was selling CRV on 1st August.
Etherscan data shows that Egorov sent 10 million CRV to Jun over two transactions of 5 million in each with him receiving $4 million USDT in return.
Jun posted another tweet on 2nd August saying that many people asked him why he is supporting Curve. He clarified that he immediately contacted and supported BendDAO when it encountered a liquidity crisis last year.
“These are really innovative projects, the infrastructure of the industry. The current difficulties are only temporary, and the industry will be healthier if we support it together,” Jun said.
Egorov is continuing selling his CRV holding in order to secure his loans on different DeFi protocols. Previously on 1st August, Egorov sold $20 million of CRV tokens to Justin Sun, DWF Labs and other entities.
