A well-known retail company Amazon partnered with Mojo Melee, an NFT game built on the Ethereum scaling network Polygon. There will be giveaways for NFTs for the prime subscribers.
On the Amazon Prime Gaming Portal, a first offer is available now, which includes an NFT and in-game currency and can be occupied by the prime subscriber who makes a new player account on Mojo Melee.
In that package, one NFT for champion character Gwyn Rockhopper and 885 Ore- a non-crypto, in-game currency, are available.
Mojo Melee can be playable on web browsers as well as Android apps. There is a causal spin on the “auto-battler” which generates a combination of assets like chess and real-time strategy games that make it popular in major non-blockchain games.
Mojo Melee debuted with a content package “Season One” and is still available on the Amazon Prime Gaming Portal.
A partnership between Amazon Prime and Mojo Melee will bring intriguing opportunities for both and will last for six months. A prime subscriber can be beneficial over a non-subscriber because they can check the game and add a competitive edge.
In the past, Amazon Prime partnered with Mythical Games to promote its play-and-create PC and Mac game Blankos Block Party. Amazon is also willing to dive into its broader NFT marketplace, but this plan is still under construction and yet to emerge.
Amazon has even launched new documentary “NFTMe” showcasing artists, collectors, and industry professionals sharing their experiences with NFTs and how it has positively changed their daily lives in December 2022.
