The lending protocol on zkSync, EraLend hints rebooting of its service a week after being exploited. EraLend shared a tweet displaying 90% progress of the rebooting process.
EraLend was the largest lending protocol on zkSync’s Era mainnet before the hacker drained $3.4 million in USDC. The read-only re-entrance exploit resulted in the protocol losing USDC from its lending pool.Â
The protocol later said it is working with security professionals and law enforcement agencies to identify the hacker. It also announced 10% bounty of total stolen funds to anyone who comes forward in identifying the attacker.
The past couple of weeks have been challenging for the DeFi ecosystem as several protocols were exploited including Multichain, Conic Finance, EraLend and Curve.
