In a recent development, Brian Armstrong, CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, drew attention to how broken the Coinbase App’s UX is for NFTs, Dapps, and L2s as a result of the rapid increase in on-chain activities during the Onchain Summer phase.
As per a recent post on X (Twitter), Brian Armstrong highlighted that users of the Coinbase app are encountering difficulties due to a range of developments connected to their fresh layer-2 network, Base. He assured users that the team is diligently working to enhance the app’s performance and resolve these concerns.
He correlated the issue with the Coinbase app to its ongoing unique non-fungible festival named “Onchain Summer,” a program that commenced on August 9th and is set to conclude on August 31st.
This event encompasses the introduction of novel features and the display of exclusive digital items, contributing to heightened on-chain activities, which in turn, has led to certain disruptions with Coinbase’s standard app.
Brian encouraged X users to share their feedback in the thread, aiming to address the most critical concerns first. He also mentioned that substantial updates addressing significant issues will be rolled out in the upcoming two weeks.
