The Interchain stablecoin protocol, Harbor is exploited in another DeFi attack with its several Vaults exposed to the vulnerability.
Harbor Protocol shared a post on X confirming it has been exploited over the past few hours. While the amount is not disclosed, it says a portion of funds is drained from its stable-mint, stOSMO, LUNA and WMATIC vaults.
“The team is working hard to estimate the total losses incurred as well as investigate the exploiter(s) and trace the funds,” said Harbor Protocol in the statement.
The protocol currently has not identified the attack pattern, it says the detailed incident report will be published after finding details.
Harbor has asked attackers to cooperate and come to a mutual decision. “We urge you to reach out to us as we are open to talk to find a solution that is optimal and doesn’t impact users and community members,” protocol addresses the attackers.
Harbor Protocol is built on top of Comdex, a CosmosSDK and CosmosWasp powered chain, that enable to mint Composite (CMST) stablecoin against asset vaults.
