A leading cryptocurrency-focused venture firm in Asia, Sino Global Capital, has rebranded as “Ryze Labs” to signify its expanded global ambitions beyond the Asian market.
The name “Ryze Labs” signifies their mission to bolster inventive projects and visionary entrepreneurs while challenging conventional financial systems. It combines “rise” and “raze” to emphasize their commitment to innovation and disruption.
Matthew Graham, Founder & Managing Partner of Ryze Labs, said, “This rebrand will help us communicate our strategic focus on driving innovation while harnessing the untapped potential of emerging markets for our founders.”
This rebranding also marks a shift away from their previous close affiliation with the cryptocurrency platform FTX. Sino Global Capital was once tightly linked to FTX, but the name change signals their intention to forge a distinct identity.
It’s worth noting that a former FTX executive has joined the ranks of Ryze Labs, highlighting the firm’s ongoing engagement with the crypto industry.
